The purpose of The Patriots Day Memorial Golf Tournament is to celebrate the life of our larger than life friend, to raise money for noble causes, to create fellowship for friends and family and have a great time. We are excited that you are interested in helping our cause and enjoying a great day full of golf and other activities!
Men under age 60 will tee off from the white tees. Men aged 60+ will tee off from the green tees. Women will tee off from the grey tees.
Play the ball from the best position as chosen by your team. All players hit from that spot.
You must play the ball within 12 inches of its original position, not nearer the hole. It may be placed. However, if your ball lies in the rough, sand or water hazard, it must be played from the specific area in which it came to rest.
Putts must be placed within 2 inches of their original position, not nearer the hole. Hole out short putts to speed up play.
The highest score you can receive is a bogey, which is 1 over par for each hole. Pick up your ball if your team does not make par.
Each team will keep track of their score. At the end of the round, please turn in your scorecard promptly to the scoring official.
Jimmy’s Patriots Golf Tournament Format
The format for Jimmy’s Patriots Golf Tournament is a 4-person best ball scramble. A “4 person” scramble is a competition format that is exactly what it sounds like: a scramble in which the teams consist of four players. After each shot, the best of the four shots is selected and all players play from that spot, until the ball is holed. One team score is recorded.
